Hello, and welcome to my ePortfolio! I am a first-year business student at Griffith University, and I’m passionate about building more than just structures—I’m here to create solutions, teams, and lasting impact.
My journey in construction started with hands-on work in carpentry and metal work, and over the years, that experience has evolved into a deeper passion for construction management. I'm currently pursuing a degree in business management at Griffith University with the goal of gaining valuable insights and necessary skills i need like financial analysis, budgeting and contract negotiations—which is all crucial for success in the construction industry.
My core values are honesty, respect, and responsibility. I strongly believe in being transparent and truthful in all my interactions. I treat others with consideration and high regard. I also take ownership of my actions and choices and be held accountable for them. These principles helps shape my everyday live, and how I work.
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
- As someone who has experience in the construction field, I am skilled and dependable with hands-on experience in various work in and around the worksite. I also have a strong mix of technical knowledge, communication skills, and leadership aspects.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- In my final years of high school, I completed a work experience in carpentry with a company called Eastwood Carpentry, and during my time working for them, we did renovation work in Mitchelton. I worked alongside the site manager and got to experience firsthand how to oversee and direct all aspects of a project from start to finish and ensure it was completed within the given timeframe.
